Paragliding Experience for One near Seattle, WA
Do you need a break from the hectic pace of life? Would you love to get away from it all and enjoy the serenity of nature and the freedom of flight? No cellphones, no computers, no interruptions allowed. Just you, loads of fresh air, and panoramic views of the world below. It’s not too good to be true. All you need is Thrillant and our access to paragliding opportunities nationwide.
If you’re new to paragliding, here are a few things you’ll want to know: a paraglider is an unmotorized, free-flying glider aircraft powered by the wind. It consists of a canopy, or “wing”, a harness, brake cords which control the direction and speed of flight, and carabineers which fasten the harness to the wing. Today’s paragliders are designed to keep you aloft for extended periods of time as you climb, soar, and descend with the currents of the air.
Tandem paragliding is the best way to begin because it requires no prior experience. Once you’re acquainted with your certified instructor and receive basic information on the ground, you’re ready to fly. You’ll be strapped into the paraglider, harnessed to your instructor, and taught basic maneuvers once you are airborne.
Imagine yourself paragliding along in a gentle breeze as you marvel at the breathtaking scenery below. You’re surrounded by fresh air, feel cool wind on your face, and are lost in the tranquility of it all. It’s a world you’ve lived in but never experienced quite like this. Consider it a well-deserved mini-vacation and disconnect to recharge.
